Library Club Activities - CSSC Workshops

The Library Club conducts educational workshops at the Clementi Student Service Centre (CSSC). Members get a chance to interact with children, experience the satisfaction of running their own workshop, and of course, get CCA points.

These are the workshops held so far:
"It's All About Volcanoes!"
The "It's All About Volcanoes!" Workshop held on 25 March 2006, Saturday, 2-3pm, at the Clementi Student Service Centre was a success. The first of the Library Club's series of monthly workshops saw 6 enthusiastic participants, who listened attentively, took part in the quiz and managed to grab some gifts and gain some "volcanic" insight for themselves. They were treated to an attempt each at trying out a miniature "volcanic eruption"! At the end of the day, 6 animated primary school kids walked away slightly enlightened about how volcanoes worked, and having witnessed their first volcanic eruption. -- Writeup by: Lim Xiu Ru

"It's All About Origami!"

"Fun, Games Team!"
